Brush creek park

The word of the day was Detour. Seemed like everywhere we wanted to go, the bridge was out. We finally got going in the right direction for our destination Brush Creek Park, a C.O.E campground about 20 miles west of Tulsa.
For $12.50 (with our senior pass) we got a shaded site, electric hook up, water at the site and hot showers! We both were able to take a short bike ride around the path surrounding the park and on the adjoining road. We had a nice view of the dam and watched a beautiful sunset
We were next to the self appointed “leash police” so we had to keep an eye on Simon. He kept a low profile.
Tomorrow we head to Little Rock to visit Susan’s niece. Hope the hurricane weather stays away!
