We started driving up the road from our disbursed camping site and it ended about three miles up at Lily Pond. We couldn’t drive any further without risking our city cars so we bushwhacked and walked our way around the pond. We found some very old structures including a stone fireplace, a corral, and a very old log cabin. We ate lunch there on a huge log. It was evident that someone had taken very good care of the forest here. Nice to see.
