Gettysburg

We spent over three hours visiting the battlefields on a self-guided audio tour. There are more than 1300 monuments to the soldiers who fought there. Some are quite elaborate especially the one for Pennsylvania. It was sobering to see the places and listen to the stories of what actually happened right there. 750,000 people died fighting the Civil war. It’s clear that some are still fighting it.
