Our campground host told us that this was a civil war cemetery. Not sure about that but interesting nonetheless. Looks like the historic society did some research and marked the graves that didn’t have headstones with white crosses.The others we’re clearly marked. Didn’t look like any were recently cared for.
Lots of young men, women and children are buried there and even one dog! We paid our respects and headed on down the road.
