Whitepine, Colorado

Neither one of us had ever been to Whitepine so we weren’t sure what to expect. Well, there’s not much there. Just one main dirt road that gets narrower as you continue through "town." No post office, store, cell service, no nothing. There were some very run down buildings and some newly built ones too. We were surprised to see folks living there – even in the summer. Very isolated. Hard to believe they were able to get the building materials up there for the newer homes.
