Beautifully calm at the lake this morning. Smoke from the California wildfires was starting to fill the air. We must have picked a good spot since right after we got there two guys and a couple in a boat decided to be there with us. The whole damn lake and they gotta be right with us!
Susan caught the first fish but it was small so we let it go. Not long after Rick got a nice one. He named it “Lunch” while Simon helped him bring it in. No more action after that and the wind was starting to blow so we packed up. We may come back later. Time for lunch!
