We packed up and headed to Gunnison for a few supplies and gas. We wanted to get there over Ohio pass but the forest service sign warning the road was not suitable for trailers made us turn around. Maybe when we are not with a trailer we’ll go over it then.
We enjoyed our drive through Cochetopa canyon to the campground and set up in one of our favorite spots, site 5. Such a deal for $5 a night with our senior pass. We are here for two nights. As usual, there are few people here.
There was no sign on the bulletin board alerting us of any fire restrictions. One of the sites had a fire going. We found lots of firewood and had small fire. And it promptly rained. These pictures are from a previous trip. I forgot take any photos.
