Lost Lake hike

We didn’t have complete dark skies last night since there was an automatic light that came on in a utility shed by the bathroom. It was still very dark and the skies were again spectacular.
We left Simon behind and headed up to Lost lake. Lovely trail through big tall pine
trees. We went completely around the lake on the shoreline wondering what peak we were looking at. Dollar Lake was another mile up the trail but we opted to head back to camp. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the birds and other critters around camp. It rained briefly and cooled things down. At times it was so quiet it felt like being in church 😂
